Road Trip Campaign Launches Improving Systems; Ease of Doing Business
(Grand Rapids, MI) Farmers Independent Agents in Maryland, North Carolina and New York will soon hit the road to improving Auto quoting, simplified billing, and a new multi-car policy.
The “Road Trip” is designed to introduce Independent Agents to the many enhancements Farmers has made to their processing systems and their Auto program.
Improved Technology
Effective March 1, agents in Maryland, North Carolina and New York can take advantage of improved systems that benefit the agency and the customer. From an online quoting environment, Farmers now offers you easier navigation, industry-standard terminology and customizable defaults on e-Agent, Farmers online policy processing system.
Increased Billing Options
Flexible billing options and cleaner bills give your customers more choices. Farmers now offers expanded Auto billing options that include Full Pay, 2-Pay, 5-Pay and a 6-Pay Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), and they’ve revised the bill to make it easier to understand.
A New Multi-Car Policy
The new Multi-Car policy makes doing business with Farmers easier and more streamlined. It means one Declarations Page and one bill for up to five cars in the household which eliminates separate billing and renewal dates for each policy.
Additionally, agents can take advantage of Auto Upload. This feature allows for the upload of data from your agency management system to the Farmers auto quote and application system. All you need to do is fill in the remaining fields and the quote or application is ready.
What Agents are Saying
Agents in Pennsylvania and Georgia, where the enhancements first launched, couldn’t be more pleased with the improvements. Michelle T. a Farmers District Manager from Georgia says, “I met with an agent yesterday and we quoted a couple non-standard risks and the customer had more coverages. The agent now will start quoting more Auto with Farmers to round out her accounts.”
Kevin P., at Farmers Territory Manager from Georgia reports, “Agents are impressed with the ease of quoting compared to the prior system.”
